Tya’s Letter of Recommendation:
To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to write this recommendation letter for Kristen Pizzo (Krissy Pizzo), who has been a fantastic and reliable coworker and friend to me for approximately a year now. During this time, I have had the privilege of witnessing her become one out of three nominees for the Outstanding Graduate of the year award after many nominations across all three campuses of the State College of Florida Sarasota-Manatee community college. I have also had the privilege to witness her taking her life by the reins and change her major to Public Relations as she attends USF, which I know is a major she will thrive and succeed in as she graduates. After witnessing these accomplishments that Krissy has achieved firsthand, I can confidently say that she will be a valuable asset to your team.
Krissy is an exceptionally positive person that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills that are needed to be a writing tutor and to publish content for our department’s social media, and I admire her commitment to excellence in everything she does.
One of Krissy’s standout qualities is her leadership. For example, if our manager is not in the office and none of the full-time writing tutors are in the office, Krissy will be the one to take the initiative as the sole writing tutor and take on the responsibility with no hesitation. That includes taking on all the appointments that were created for the writing tutors beforehand, managing our workshops and classes, etc., which is a huge relief, and I admire Krissy for that. Another way she has shown her leadership is her being one of the heads of our department’s social media accounts, such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc. I have recently received words of admiration from our own Public Relations specialist that is the head of SCF’s entire social media account, stating that our department’s social media is the most active and responsive amongst all the departments’ social media accounts, across all three campuses of SCF. After witnessing these extraordinary feats that Krissy has achieved, I know that she consistently exhibits a high degree of professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm in all her endeavors.
I have no doubt Krissy will continue to thrive and contribute positively to any future position, opportunity and/or program. She has my highest recommendation, and I am confident that she will be an asset to your team!
